Altar Servers
Young men and women grades 3 through 12 are part of the Altar Server Ministry. Each server is assigned to a team which rotates serving Mass. Each team serves about every 5 weeks.
Adult Altar Servers
The Adult Altar Servers assist at Funerals and Daily Mass.
A Master of Ceremonies is a well trained, usually high school aged server, who takes on additional responsibilities during the Mass.
These ministers lead Prayer Services at the Funeral Home for our deceased parishioners. Training is part of this ministry. These ministers are sent out two by two to pray and assist the families in time of need.
Home bound ministers bring the Eucharist to those parishioner who are unable to regularly attend Mass on the week-end. This ministry involves training and a compassionate, loving personality.
This Committee is responsible for the beautiful decorations you see in the Church and Gathering Aear throughout the year. All you need is a desire to help, You don't need any special skills but a willingness to share and work as a team is important.
Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion serve at any Mass they attend. Each minister is required to participate in a discernment session before training to participate in this ministry.
Lectors are assigned on a rotating basis to proclaim the Word of God. Each Lector is asked to have their reading critiqued and participate in a discernment session before being placed on the schedule
All parishioners, single, married, children and teens can be part of our Greeter Ministry. Greeters are assigned to a Mass they regularly attend. However, they can greet whenever they are present.
Sacristans assist setting up for the Mass and caring for the elements that are used in the celebration. Training is needed for serving in this ministry.
Ushers are placed on a team and usually usher every other week. They assist with greeting and seating the people, collecting and securing the collection and assisting at communion to insure the proper reverence due the Eucharist.
