Dear Brothers, Officers, Families, Parishioners, and all others who find their way to this article;
We recently celebrated the anniversary of being an officially chartered Knights of Columbus Council. Several of the original charter members are still active in the council as either officers, or doing other good works within the Parish. Our council also has eleven Knights who have been serving for 40 years or more – Gerald Waligora (40), Ralph Engler (42), Fr. Thomas Johnson (44), Michael Hessen (44), Ron Koscierzynski (46), Roger Quitter (49), Maurice Cerra (49), Ted Corriveau (62), Antonio Rallo (65), Charles Filar (65) and Leonard Kasprzyk (72). Congratulations!!!
Our Council continues to grow as we individually grow in our role as leaders of Catholic men in our Parish. Since the beginning of this year, we have added 8 new members. Please introduce yourself and welcome new Brother Knights – Jeff Stevens, Sean Stevens (father and son), Chris Corneau, Matt Szubielski (Steve’s son), Alec Odrobina, Mark Kovalcheck, Leonard (Lenny) Pasquale, and Christian (Chris) Jacob. Several of these men are already actively participating in Knights events!
A few weeks ago, the Gospel talked about listening for your calling. What does the Lord have planned for you? Maybe the Lord is calling you to lead, to step up and be a light. The next few months we will be having nominations and elections of officers. Please consider your position in the Council and the Parish. Do you have ideas on how we can be more active as Catholic men in our Parish? Do you have ideas about what needs to be discussed at meetings? It is not too late, you are not too young, or too new or too old to get involved. To quote Fr. Joe “It is when we divide ourselves from each other we weaken the power of the Good News.” Christ calls us to unity with Him and with each other. We need to lead and be guides for others.
If not you, then who?
Thank you for all you do, and that you continue to do!
I may be contacted at [email protected].
VIVAT JESUS!

PRAYER to St. MICHAEL THE ARCHANGEL:
St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle, be our protection against the wickedness and snares
of the devil. May God rebuke him we humbly pray; and do thou, O Prince of the Heavenly host, by the
power of God, cast into hell Satan and all the evil spirits who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen!
